  • Posting: Postdoctoral Associate Job Details | Duke Careers
  • Key Responsibilities: Develop and validate multiscale computational models of immune cell populations and viral interactions, collaborating with experimentalists to translate biological observations into testable mathematical frameworks.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site and remote mix)

This position focuses on developing, calibrating, and analyzing multiscale agent-based models (ABMs) and differential equation models of Epstein–Barr Virus (EBV) and HIV-1 infection dynamics in human lymphoid tissue. New mathematical models will be informed by longitudinal experimental data, including multiplexed spatial proteomics and transcriptomics, collected from state-of-the-art microfluidic lymph node on-a-chip systems used to study infection initiation and immune response.
