MISM’s Model and Data Sharing Core (MDSC) is dedicated to advancing and integrating Immunology and Infectious Disease (IID) models across biological scales through the development of robust infrastructure and the promotion of community data and model sharing standards.
MDSC is developing a scalable platform designed to support the creation, discovery, and analysis of multiscale models and datasets generated by MISM Research Programs (RPs) and the broader IID modeling community. This platform will feature AI-powered tools for model navigation and on-demand computing resources, streamlining research workflows and accelerating scientific discovery.
Central to MDSC’s mission is the advancement of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles for data and models. MDSC will work closely with community partners to identify and implement best practices to promote transparency, interoperability, and impactful science across the IDD modeling landscape.
