Umar Qureshi is a scientific program leader with extensive experience in developing, executing, and managing complex interdisciplinary projects - ranging from small business medical device development endeavors to multi-dimensional, multi-million-dollar vaccine and biologics research programs. With a PhD in Applied Mathematics, he has previously developed physics-based models and uncertainty quantification pipelines to simulate organ-scale fluid flows and tissue mechanics. Dr. Qureshi is passionate about the discovery and translation of innovative health solutions with global impact. He will leverage his research background and program management expertise to facilitate the accomplishment of the programmatic goals and objectives of the MISM CoE.
